For anyone interested in the PS3?

I heard today on the radio that the playstation 3 may not hit the european market at the expected date of April 07 due to difficulties. Anyone that is planning to buy a ps3 through ebay or who plans to visit America or Japan and wants to buy one are advised not to due to different wattage. A different plug adaptar is not enough and you will damage the ps3. Also American ps3's will only work will top class new televisions. For some strange reason it wont work on the average american tv. So im guessing they wont work on our normal irish (or english) tv's either. We will just have to wait until they hit our market.

First, anyone planning on visiting America [I live there] won't be getting one ANYTIME soon. All U.S. pre-orders have been sold for weeks and even all of those won't be getting fulfilled on November 17, 2006. If you haven't already started camping out in front of any of the major stores - forget about it.

it will still work on your regular tv, but HDTV is supposed to optimize the graphics.
