Settle a bet. Sony Bravia? Or Samsung?

Sony gets their LCD panels from Samsung.
They are essentially the same from that perspective.
However, they have different electronics inside (video processing, et al).
It would be a better comparison among Sharp vs. Samsung/Sony vs. LG/Philips.

I have a Sony Bravia KDL 40S2010 and love it. Picture has great color and is very clear, especially in HD. Lots of fine tuning capability and 40" set is only 39" wide.
Samsung was my second choice.
The best comparison would be the Aquos vs Bravia.
I go Aquos.
I've had a 32" Samsung widescreen TV for about 4 years connected to a Pace skybox with a scart going into AV1. The picture is superb. I would think that to get the same quality from Sony you might have to pay a lot more. I have no intention of ever buying Sony.
