Is sky TV worth the money?

whats is the best sky TV package around?

Answers:
Never thought that it would be, however I do find myself watching it more and more. We are hooked on Discovery and I find myself watching things I never thought - 'How do they make that?' 'Myth Busters' 'Miami Ink' - sad yeah maybe but it beats the hell out of Im a celebrity! Plus its educational. Go for it - give it a try, start with the small package and work your way up if you like it!
No but we don't have a choice. All the rest are rubbish. SKY has lots of features that others don't have.

Check their website.
We refuse to pay for Sky because it is so expensive, but I would go with the 40 pound package because it gives you the most channels without costing as much. Hope that helps!

used to have sky when i lived with my parents, thought i would miss it but found the time gets taken up by scrolling through the channels to find something decent to watch, and that was usually on normal TV anyway! get a free-view box, well worth it
We used to pay £40+ for Sky every month but most of the time we only watched the free channels anyway so we stopped subscribing, so in our case no it wasn't worth the money.
no
No its not worth the money at all all it is is full of repeats of programmes that have already been on terrestrial. The only good thing about sky is it has better features than free view.
Not anymore.
I would say not, Freeview is Ok, I cancelled all my Sky stuff 2 years ago and don't miss it one bit. Its too expensive and most of it is old stuff recycled or repeats.
get cable (NTL) usually you can pay the engineers a bit of cash and get a 'dodgy' box which gives u all channels including pay per view for like 6months or a year depending on what you pay.
If you are satisfied with free channels, not spending too much time with TV it is not worth of it otherwise it is.
thanks to the discovery channels i know every thing there is to know about sharks, crocodiles, hitler, volcanoes, tsunami's, tornado's, hurricanes and the FBI
No, not any more
The only problem with Sky is the groundhog day documentaries.
They are good the first time round. try it for six months and you
will have seen everything twice.except the footie that is.
