Lcd screen for ddv s670 digital camera wont turn on?
hello anybody have any ideas what could be wrong with my lcd screen on my ddv s670 dgital camera, it was working fine then all of a sudden the screen went fuzzy then turned off and it just wont turn on. I t works fine when connected to the tv takes pictures /records etc .you can see and do everything normally done on the lcd sreen (menus etc.) ive took it apart to see if theres any loose connection or to see if the ribbon is damaged but cant see any visible damage the screen looks fine physicly . the camera is like a flipfhone and also does half a twist with the screen .thanks

This might sound odd but have you tried changing the fuse in the plug, as you never know it could be that!..
Presumably you have tried the usual things such as turning the screen switch to screen on. You do know that the facility is there to be able to switch the screen on and off ?Other than that you seem to have explored the possibilities. There could be a break in the ribbon that you can't see, but it's pretty well impossible to repair any breaks. I am afraid that it looks like you will have to take the camera to a repairer. It shouldn't cost much. Good luck.
I don't know where it is but I think there is a button that is pushed 3 times to turn the screen on/off. Digilife has that on it's cameras . Have a good read of the manual.
