Is it worth buying the DS lite?
I already have a nintendo DS, and want to know if its worth buying the DS Lite?

If you have a bit of disposable income, and like nice things, then I would say go for it. Sell the old one on Ebay, that will bring in about £40-50 and then the Lite will only be half the price, net. Comparing them side by side, the Lite is very nice, its much brighter for one thing, and I understand the battery life is longer per charge even with the extra brightness. Plus those cool looks! Go on, you know you want to!
Depends on whether the benefits of the purchase ourweigh the cost. You need to determine your investment dollar stategy.
No. It's exactly the same but a little smaller. Unless your arms have grown so weak that they can't take the weight of the DS I think you would be wasting your money.
Yes! I've traded in my old gamboy advance and my old ds and I don't regret it. I love my ds lite!
It's a question of aesthetics rather than performance really.
Although the Lite can out-perform the original DS in terms of battery life and screen contrast, it is essentially the same piece of equipment in a different shell.
If you prefer the shiny, iPod-esque looks of the Lite then go for it. If you don't mine the looks of the DS then stick with that.
