Hiya, Everyone. Can anyone help with this ?

I have a Packard Bell 17inch Monitor.

At the top, sometimes there is a flashing coloured line.
Any idea's to stop this happening. If i move the screen up manually it does go. Im just wondering.

Thanks, David : )

Answers:
it is a CRT based display? If so, you probably have a leaky capacitor in the vertical circuit.
it just seems that something quit functioning on the inside of the monitor, however, If your monitor is "packard bell" brand, that probably means it's time for and upgrade anyway (packard bell hasn't been its own entity for some time now) if you're on a budget just go to a thrift shop that sells electronics (value village or goodwill) and get a newer monitor for $15 or so.
