I'm looking for a good restaurant in Manchester, England that is not too dark and dingy, with veggie options!

Somewhere that isnt too smokey would be good. But most important is great food. I'm a chef and the girl i'm taking is a vegitarian. Any suggestions welcome

There is also another vegetarian restaurant on the same road but I can't remember the name.
I know a good vegetarian restaurant in Manchester, it's called Eighth Day and its on Oxford Rd. It only does vegetarian food though. Another good one (if you like Thai food) would the Royal Orchid on Portland Street, I know they do vegetarian food because I went recently with a vegetarian couple.
