Where in London can I find a good quality, cheap japanese reastaurant?
Answers:
There is a Japanese noodle bar, check out this site:

Or if you go to this site it is all Japanese restaurants and you can put your requirements, inlcuding price, so this is probably your best option:

any of the Wagamama restaurants are a good bet - and Time Out magazine often have '2 for 1' coupons during the summer. Also, try Tokyo Diner in Soho - the service can be a bit surly, but the food is good value.
You can't get some fantastic japanese food in the Japanese Centre in Soho.
Despite what one answerer has suggested, I would never EVER recommend Wagamama if you want good Japanese food. For a start, most of it is not really Japanese in style or flavour anyway, and secondly, it's complete pants for the price you pay.
Do a quick search on the Internet for places like:
Misato (small place, huge portions, excellent value, no booking but worth the queues)
The Japan Centre (good and reasonable take-out sushi downstairs, popular restaurant on grnd floor)
Miyama (more pricey but good food, dull atmosphere though)
Soho Japan (been good when I've been there but I wasn't paying)
Ikkyu (Izakaya-style restaurant - a bit hit and miss but not bad on the whole)
Lots of others too. Just stay well clear of Wagamama and Yo! Sushi!
