factmonster.com answer there
in Italy try the great Scottish food
Hey nice one, I'm from Edinburgh! It's a great city.

Go down to Leith at the newly revamped docklands, there's some amazing places to eat there.

You could also try near the Playhouse, it's a really good eating area, but really I'd try Leith harbour. Very upmarket but reasonably priced.
Rome
would you go to a chiropodist for a nose job, so why go to edinburgh for italian food
i don't know an Italian but theres a wicked funky restaurant on Charles street(top of the big hill!) called the outsider!
aw come on, at least eat at mcdonalds, that at least sounds scottish.
When in rome do as the romans do.When in edinburgh do as the scots do.You don't have to have haggis, oatcakes or porridge unless your hungry Seriously try some real scottish food, cooked to perfection good luck
