There's a hospital there if I recall. Try the staff, patients & visitors restaurant for some cheapish scoff. I'm serious mate. I work in an NHS Acute Hospital and there are loads of locals who come in on a daily basis for their grub. Yeah I know the decor may be tacky but the food is hot, you can guarantee that the hygiene is good too. On the other hand, if you are trying to charm a young man / lady then best you check out Cambridge or one of those country pubs that are popular over that way. Listen carefully though and you may hear the sound of the microwave bell prior to your 'Hunter's Chicken' arriving piping hot in front of you. Have fun!
