Why is it that at times one love someone more than they love them back? Love hurts.?

sometimes it seems like we love somone more than they love us, but it is not always true, it happends that we show more love and get it less, but it does not mean that other person loves you more, sometimes the problem is that second person has problem with showing emotions,
you have to look at it, how the guy is threateing you, if he really doesnt show you love , maybe he is not interested, but i think that it is good talk about this with the one you love, but dont push to much , like do you love me question is not really so good, but rather ask "what do you feel to me" , "what you like about me" or if he already said that he loves you asky "why do you love me" and maybe if you manage to open him more you will find out that in fact he loves you but might not show it in fear that if he shows too much he will lose you, he also might play game where you do not show too much love to other persone to make this person try harder to make you love more

for example, if i love one girl it does not mean i like that every thing my girlfriend does, so is love, i may love her 100% but if she loves me 60% i think that is enough for me, because individuals nature is so different, you cant say, i love some one 100% so he should love as much as i do, but he may care about you as much as you do. that means he can give you nice gifts in order to make you happy or to keep you relationship worm, or he can call you every day to shaw you that he cares about you,,, despite all this romantic interaction between you and him you may still love him more than he does, but it doesn't mean he doesn't love you. it is the way our human nature happened to be.
I will answer with a question: why is life somtimes so complicated ? But it's what make life & love also beautiful. If it would be too easy, life & love would be to boring
Sometimes it is the other way and the person you love loves you more than you love them. This doesn't feel that great either.
When that happened to me I felt guilty a lot. I also felt worried that he would find out that I didn't have the depth of feeling for him that he had for me. In the end I felt like I was using him and I had to break it off so I could have a clear conscience. Looking back I felt better not to long after breaking up because it was always a heartache while it was going on, and I still don't know if I loved him at all, or if I just tried to because he loved me.
In a perfect world everyone would find that one true love we keep hearing about. Marry. Have 2.3 children & live happily ever after.
