Why dio people think there is a god?

Because they grew up believing that he is real from their parents or churches.
Early man was terrified at the possibility that the world was random and uncaring. He then personified elements of nature so that he could better relate to them and perhaps influence them. These personifications became the early gods. As we became more sophisticated as a species, our concept of God became so as well. At a critical stage in our development, prophets arose who codified our beliefs into a set of behavioral guidelines which survive into today. From that time until this, we have accepted the belief systems of our family and community. Children are very impressionable and will believe early training, no matter how sensible or ridiculous.

Because they have been told throughout there lives that there is a god and that they should be God fearing.This is instilled into all.
When people reach the time of discernment in their lives and start to question, they meet with a wall of people who are not prepared to think any other way, or to see reality for what it is, or isn't. a lot of these people stick together in their beliefs these are believers, and they have no further consequence. Others become so entrenched in religion that it can in some cases become dangerous,to none believers and believers alike, as history has recorded.
I think people have an instinctive need to believe in a higher authority or diety.
because there is god who you think created you from only a sperm and ovum and made them divide to make you alive who could make them stop dividing and make you stop growing or make you die or you think that the skies and earth just decided to exist only from the silly theory of that there was a star which exploded even if we assumed that it is right who made this star explode and who have the ability to make all of the universe disappear in no time or even prevent the explosion which made the earth become exist..think of it for a moment before you say things you don't know how serious they are..
i think there is a god and my favourite saint is st. anthony for lost causes and if you lose something he will help you find it believe me he really works keep the faith!!

I'm not religious but I do believe that there is always something there when you are down. Maybe I'm getting confused with a guardian angel but they all come from GOD don't they?
