How would you say No .. with a southern drawl?
Unlike some of the uncultured clods who answer these questions and perpetuate the myths of Southern ignorance, I can assure you that Birmingham does indeed have some fine eating establishments. If you want delicious simple fare, try Guadalajara or Olive Garden. For more discerning palates, such eateries as Romano's Macaroni Grill or Jalapeno's Mexican Cantina are just what the doctor ordered.
For more information, just look up Birmingham on your search engine, select restaraunts, and just pick whatever you like. And for you juvenile posers out there who try to make us Southerners look like hicks, try going and getting a job, cut your hair and bathe once in a while. You might even get to like it.
I know there is Nando's, that's Portuguese and I would recommend it to anyone. There is also Walkabout, that is Australian themed but it's more of a pub than a restaurant but you can get interesting food. There is a sushi bar in the "Mailbox" and there are a few other restaurant type places round there. There is also a sushi bar and other bits like that at Selfridges in the Bullring but I would only recommend that if you are a millionaire! There are loads of places. If you want a nice meal, not necessarily in a restaurant, there is a lovely pub called the Pitstop which does lovely food.
