Here is a small part of why I think Americans are more obese than a lot of other countries (especially European and Middle East): Based on my travels (very extensive) we don't smoke nearly as much as the rest of you. You all smoke like trains. Cigarettes naturally decrease your appetite and speed up your metabolism. All of you quit smoking, and each of you will weigh 30 more pounds within 3 months.
Well, roughly 60% of Americans are overweight, either by a little or a whole lot. As for intelligence, you usually only see the really smart ones or the really dumb ones one television, so it is hard to say.

American meals are usually 50% bigger than other countries because they want us to get use to the portions so we'll buy more. I really can't stand the way marketing works in this country, but we do have quite the overweight population. But usually the ones that are overweight are either not intelligent enough to realize their habbits, or have genetic disorders that they aren't seeking treatment for.

yes you are wrong. not all americans are overweight. do some research before you critize what you don't understand. It might not even be fat, there are illnesses that could make a person look that way.
u make us sound horrible .. but for most that is true .. either underweight or overweight is the way it goes. not all women are called mary lou and men eric thats just stupid. and some people really like elvis. our meals may be big but that just means u can take some home with u .. not that everyone eats it all
im in high school and like 2% of the kids are overweight mostly the kids are really skinny
We aa a nation are heavier than any point in history. This results from more access to convenience foods, more variety of fast foods and pre-packaged foods, and a more sedentary lifestyle. I truly belive that the answr to your question is YES!!

Which is exactly why I phrased it as insultingly as you did when you asked your initial question. I'd suggest you get a more worldly view outside the idiot-box you've been exposed to for too long.
Obviously not everyone is the stereo-type you've decided to bloat into fact in your own mind. I'm sure wherever you are there are many different and diverse peoples, tastes and levels of intellegence - I won't indulge myself in wondering how far down you fall on this list.
