The Very Northern tip of Ireland is in Co. Donegal which is part of the Republic the the counties next to it belong to the UK the republic is traditionaly known as southern Ireland as geographically it takes up the bulk of the southern part of the island. Ulster which is owned by the United Kingdom is six counties in the NE of the country traditionally known as Northern Ireland, get a map online you'll see.
What do you mean English people call it N Ireland, that is the legal and proper name; I was born and bred there and that is the correct name. Geographically, the most western part of the northern part of the island of Ireland is Donegal which is in the Republic of Ireland
What isit? It is the best wee place on earth. Where is it? North of the Republuic of Ireland. Our six counties are better than their 32 counties, . fact not fiction. Oh and by the way we are the wee dopey team who beat England last seaon prior to England thinking they were going to win the World Cup..tee hee tee heee!
I don't really understand your question, but Northern Ireland is the North Eastern part of Ireland. It is part of the United Kingdom. If you're asking what is the northern most point in Ireland it looks like it's Malin Head which is in the republic of Ireland.
Ha ha ha ha ha brian l -
your 6 are better than our 32??
At least you acknowledge OUR 32!
Ireland is an Island off of Britain to the left of the map, please remember that England is only part of the uk as we are made up of all these ,Scotalnd,Wales and england all TOGETHER...
Politically,it's Part of the UK,comprising the north eastern 6 counties on the Island of Ireland, bordering the Irish Republic to the south and West. Where is it? 7 degrees west,54 degrees north (co-ordinates near where I live-County Fermanagh!)on Google Earth or any good Map showing Ireland..
