Chinese bound feet?
i have had some great answers to my question on what happens to the bones, tendons, nerves etc in chinese bound feet, but i really need it in more terminology style, as in the particular bones (ie, metatarsals) and the way they deform, i would be eternally greatfull for any help .
Answers:
the chinesse bound theyre childrens feet tighly to stop them growing any bigger.it is now against the law to do this.the damage it caused to the bones was irrepairable,it made the bones all out of shape with the result that when the binding was taken of they couldnt walk properly.the binding was kept on from childhood to they reached theyre adolesences.they then had to be taught to be able to walk properly again.as they grew the bindinding was changed and made even tighter.from what i have read on the matter the pain they sufferd was excruciating.I hope this is is of some help to you.
Sorry, it's one thing guaranteed to make me feel sick
