Do residents of Poland pay to go to University?

Is University schooling provided or do they have to pay to attend?

Answers:
We need to pay the same rate as English students, so it is around 3,000 per academic year. You can apply for student loan as well. Sadly you can't get a student support for those with low incomes if you are not a resident in UK.
Polish students in Poland who are full time day students, attend a public university, and passed certain exams DO NOT have to pay. My girlfriend is Polish and she pays no tuition. She does have almost 40 hours a week of study though.
