Which degrees do you think have the most value and really tell you a person is academic?

and which degrees have least value?

Answers:
Law: because it continually evolves.
Philosophy: because it is continually requires re-interpretation.
Theoretical Physics: because it has to be continually has to be proved.

Least value? A degree in Klingon language allegedly taught at Bournmouth University.
Greatest value - probably something useful like medicine.

Least value - dare I say it, media or surfing studies!
many degrees are in so called easy subjects like media studies which is basically watch telly for 3 years . i would say stick to the core subjects like maths english and science .another very good one is history as it encompasses a wide range of topics . as for being academic , a lot of people leave school and university these days with a bunch of good results and to say they are intelligent is a massive overstatement .
