what do they look for in an applicant? How should you answer essay questions?
Answers:
1.) Grades. Are you posting A's and B's or is it C's and D's?
2.) Quality of Courses: Are you taking challenging classes or "basic art?"
3.) Extra-Ciricular Activities: Were you involved or did you just go to school and go home? If you have to work, list it here to because it shows your responsible. Work counts!
4.) SAT Scores. With this, try not to be a total failure but if you have lower scores and a 3.8 gpa you should be ok. They would here look at the courses you take.
5.) Essay: Can you write? Does it read like a 5 year old wrote it? And most importantly, if they asked you a question, DID YOU PROVIDE SUPPORT?
Good luck. I have friends in admissions at X University. I wont' tell you the UNIV because I dont want to get them in trouble.
