P.S. Alexander was quite an interesting chap in any event, even if his conquests were somewhat ephemeral. You should borrow a book about him from your local library.
alexander the great was the illigitimate son of alan the average, his goal in capturing greece was to invent the perfect post pub snack using the local ingrediants with a view to total world snack domination, his part in the history of greece was the famous donner kebab lol

Wasn't "John Travolta" in Greece ?
Of all those who have set out to conquer the world, Alexander the Great came closest to finishing the job. The son of King Phillip II of Macedon, Alexander was educated by the philosopher Aristotle and first led troops at age 18. After his father's death he whipped the superpower Persians and conquered much of the civilized world. He died suddenly at age 33 after a bout of heavy drinking; some suggest he was poisoned, though no cause of death has ever been proved.
a great military commander or perhaps a renegade conqueror .
Greece was the most powerful nation in Persia thus by conquering Greece he became ruler of Persia .
as ruler of all Persia his role in Greece's history is blurred because he in fact moulded the beliefs of all nations into his own vision ?

at least this is what I've learnt in the past 5 minutes web search ?
