I am starting a post-grad journalism course at Sheffield very shortly and would like to know if anyone has completed a similar one recently. Any tips on getting through? Shorthand does not look easy!

Shorthand isn't difficult to master if you put enough effort into it. Once you have mastered it and use it regular, its easy.
