Jenny was taken to hospital and due to the hospital being understaffed they had failed to notice her blocked artery. As a result she had her leg amputated. What is the relationship of proximity?

i am studying for a law degree and i think the following applies, the hospital has, and had a duty of care to your friend, this duty of care in my opinion should not, and cannot be undermined by staff shortages, thats like saying, sorry we botched your operation in theatre last nite but we are short staffed, not on your friend should consult a solicitor or lawyer and take action. good luk
I have no idea. Sorry. My question though is why was the hospital under staffed. That shouldn't be tolerated . I feel really sorry for her and you.
