Not REAL penguins, they are just a species of animal. I think you watch to many Batman reruns. The character the penguin was a bad guy on the show. REAL PENGUINS are just one species of bird that call earth home. They are a species of flightless bird, much like the Ostrich. I believe the penguin you are referring to was a character played by Danny Devito on the fictional show Batman, he was just taking over the character of the 1950's television show BATMAN.
