I live in india, is it worth going to the states for my graduate studies?

i come from a middle class family, so i'll have to take a loan. my mum will start working there as a nurse. i want to become an english literature professor.

Answers:
First u should have ur good academic to get a scholorship, taking a loan is worth a try but think twice before take a decision trying at and early age is a better gamble.

yes it is
Read about it, it is just like anything else. You have to read about it and see if you would like it.
yes it will help a lot I believe.I hate to say I don't know much about your native india but I believe there are more oppurtunities in America.

GOOD LUCK
My parents came from india so i have a taste of both countries. India's math is much more advanced than american math, so it is a better bet if you want to study there. But the conditions of america are very nice, so it would be easier to study. So it's either getting a better education in bad conditions(india), or regular education in good conditions(america).

You might rank higher here though, because of your earlier education in India.
Going to US would be great..Coz its a land of oppurtunities..U well never be sorry abt ur decision to go to US..IF u want to Know abt Studying in US See http://www.edufive.com/studyabroad.html.
