Can any guide me about J-1 visa for USA. I'm planning for Marriot j-1 Intership programme.was it hard?

When i went to the USA back in 2003 i was a student and went through the CIEE ( Council of International Educational Exchange . As i was a student it was easy the CIEE do all the work . You have to contact them at

The only thing i had to really do was to complete various application forms, pay for the Visa and then go to the US Embassy in London to get it approved . This part is quiet interesting as you have to sit in a queue for a long time then your name is called by an American official . He/she will ask you some questions and basically check you out .

NB If your not a student you will need to obtain some form of sponsorship by a company IE. Marriott . I think this will be fairly easy as there are many Marriott's all over the USA
