The length of a side would be 12 m. The diagonal would be 144 + 144 = c squared, or 16.97 m.
C'mon I'm sure you know the first part and that you can do it yourself. Just know that a square has 4 EQUAL SIDES.
As for part (b) of your question: now that you know each side of a square you can use Pythagoras theorem to obtain the length of the diagonal.
(length of a side)^2 + (length of a side)^2 = (length of diagonal)^2
Now try to do it yourself and see if you get the answers. Try checking your textbooks or notes or even your friends and tutors first before resorting to the Internet.
