Do you think people that can`t spell properly?

should be shot ?

Answers:
No, not exactly, my dad was a very intelligent man, but was rubbish at spelling. What I really really hate on here is the use of text style language which is all abbreviations, it is murdering the English language. Also, I do think people should make more of an effort with their spelling, some people on here just seem lazy and ignorant because of it.

While we are on such things - bad grammar and punctuation is also annoying, and so, to be pedantic with you, your question should have been: "Do you think people who can't spell properly should be shot?" - picky of me I know, but there you are!!

Pot / kettle etc!
they should be all forced to learn the dictionary off by heart
They are cnuts
hell yeah
wat u takin bout?
Not being able to spell isn't so much the problem as not being able to click on the check spelling toggle.
Not shot, but taught to spell and forced to use it.
I assume you're talking about the people who write thus: "da answrs teem r gd n kool"?
YES!
We should feel sad, what kind of advertisement is that for our Country that we don't put enough importance on education.
What about people who can't capitalize properly?
No, their teachers should.
Not really. being shot may be a little harsh considering that we don't even shoot murderers these days! Well, not in Great Britain anyway! It can be annoying to be honest but it is not always a case of not being able to spell as opposed to not taking the time to check their spelling and that their fingers have hit the right keys in the right order.

Also with the mobile phone text craze, a lot of people abbreviate to get as much as they can into one text to save the cost of sending multiple text messages. this transfers to everyday typing too.
at dawn, for those, who mistakenly, think that they can use, punctuation should be , on reflection, shot with them.
I think they are lazy and don't care. They aren't really interested in getting their point across, or they would put some effort into using proper spelling and grammar.
yes
I DON'T UNDERSTAND, IF THEY HAVE A PROBLEM WITH SPELLING, WHY WOULDN'T THEY USE SPELL CHECK? MOST DON'T!
so because I'm dyslexic (mainly with English) i should be shot! people don't press the little button that says "check Spelling" i can't spell properly so i make sure i press that little button. people now days are lazy. that's why there are so many spelling mistakes.
I think part of it is laziness and the fact that many people won't go to a dictionary and try to look up how a word is spelled. The netspeak and the "l33t" stuff drives me up the wall, too!

The worse offense, though, is that people don't use spell check. There's no excuse for that.

I tend to take people whose grammar and spelling is bad less seriously than people who make the effort to look literate.

It's not that hard, people.
Bet you were dead careful writing that in case you made a mistake!!
I don't think people who CAN'T spell properly should be shot so much as those who REFUSE to spell properly. I can't stand the way people type these days "wat do u meen? r u stoopid?" Like mis-spelling words is cool. I am a very poor speller (as I'm sure I have proved in this answer) but I certainly try my best. I do go out of my way to learn the correct spellings of words that I have trouble with, but sometimes it just doesn't stick. Oh well, I'll keep trying. Please don't shoot me!
not at all
nope what's the use of dead people who can't spell?
hey dysilecks rule ko
taught to spell and then made to take several tests to make sure it has sunk in
No, but I think that people that do think that should be!
