How i become an MP?

I want to be an MP for UKIP - uk independance party. i believe in what they say and want to try and promote this party. I want to be an MP, how do i do this?

I assume you're a British, Irish or Commonwealth citizen, not insane or an undischarged bankrupt, are not a Member of the House of Lords, and have no criminal record.

You need to be nominated - you need 10 electors to sign your nomination papers.

You need to put up a deposit of £500.

All that meas you can stand for election: to stand specifically as a party candidate (eg UKIP) you also need to be formally adopted by the local party committee.

Then you only need 15-20,000 or so Little Englanders to decide you're the person for them!
go to some party people, and get advice.. that's the best way to acheive ur goal

Don't bother. Ukip will never get an MP into Parliament.
Why don't you try to be an MEP for UKIP. They always cheer us up in the European Parliament.
