What are the requirements for a US student to get accepted at Cambridge?

I have dual citizenship in UK since my father is British, but I am still woundering what I would have to do to get in.

Answers:
Well. being competitive goes without saying. Since you are a native English speaker, IELTS or TOEFL go out the window. If you are looking for a scholarship, unless you have lived in the UK for the past three years for a purpose other than education, you will be considerred as an overseas student. As an overseas student from the US, you will be eligible for the Gates Cambridge Trust I think. More details available at www.cam.ac.uk if you have not checked already.
A real education
