it's only too late when you are pushing up Daisey's and 26 is still young. Go Louise, go to school. Ask family and friends that you trust if they will be able to help you!!
no, its never to late. and 26 is not old
Trust me, it is never too late to go back to college. All you need is courage and think of the reward =D
its not too late. go back & git er doneeee. by the time its over and youve found a good job you will have no problem paying your bills anymore. college is an extremely smart investment.
its never too late to go get more education, I would suggest however saving up enough money so you do have to borrow money to pay for school
Nope, there are people 20-30 years older than you going to college. 26 is almost like coming straight outta high school.
it is never too late to learn.go back to college in the evenings or do an online course.if you don`t do it you may live to regret it .good luck
I think it's never too late, but the longer you put it off the harder it will be to do it! Good Luck!!
It's never too late. I went back when I was 40, and I got better grades and enjoyed it more because there was no pressure. I was doing it for me, not because others expected me to.
It's never to late, you may even qualify for financial aid. You should't have to pay anything right off. If they will give you loans you won't even have to pay anything back until 6 months after you graduate. keep in mind that you may also qualify fro grants, which is free money from the government that you never have to pay back. Plus alot of colleges kinda work around your schedule, you can take daytime classes or nighttime.
My mom went back to college when she was 46. I went back to school when I was around 24ish. I had to work also, so I found a steady part time job and applied for all the grants and loans I could to make my way through school. Talk to the financial aide office at the school you're thinking of attending, they will be able to help you out. Good Luck!
your never too old im 26 too and was thinking about it also, i've done college when i left school but had children young. There were older people in my class when i was there (late 30's early 40's) so go for it your never too old. good luck
It's never too late to go back to university or college! You're still just a puppy, married or not , 26 isn't OLD. My aunt went back to take a degree in French in her mid sixties. I was in university with a woman of 55 taking her ba/b.ed degree.
You can go to night school and take a course at a time and still have your job and raise your kids. True your spouse may have to help out more and you and your children may be doing homework together but then that might be a motivation for your kids to see you getting a higher education and think wow , if he/she can do that I could too.
Go for it . If you want it bad enough you'll find ways to do it.
It is not too late to go back to school. There have been people in their 80's to graduate.Online classes may be your best option with children and a job.Go and better yourself.I think it is great
no u can go to college anytime!! theres always a way to find money!!
Believe me it is never too late, i went to college when i was 40 and gained an HND in my chosen subject.
I now have an HND, BA and Msc and i am only 51.
I managed to get (what i think) a good job, with good wage, company car, pension and medical insurance, i had to work while i was at college and University, it was difficult juggling both but i was fed up being in low paid job and being treated like an idiot at times.
You go for it and the best of luck.
No, it is not too late to go back to college if you are any age. You should not feel discouraged by anyone, it sounds like someone told you you can not go back to college. Do not listen to them. Just get in touch with the college of your choice and they should work around your schedule.
Never to late to learn & age is no barrier.
Its never to late to go back to school. Part time or Full time.
You are kidding, right? I went back at age 44 and was not the oldest student there. Not by a long shot!
i went to college with 2 women who were in there 60s so no its not too late
NEVER TOO LATE !!
go for it that's all i can say, i'm 27 got mortgage, two kids ,and i work part time i went to college 2 years ago and i've just qualified.its the best thing i've ever done. good luck
You will now be classed as a 'mature' student and may have to pay for college where you wouldn't if you went straight from school, however I believe though I may be wrong that you don't necessarily need the same grades. Most places do night classes once a week especially for adults
It's never too late. I went to a comm. college where even 30-40 yr olds were attending classes.
at 26 you should be able to go to university if you want to. you just have to check you have the right qualifications/standard to get in . try clearing options. if not there are loads of adult courses you can do .. but yes i should think universities will still take you on! good luck :-)
It's never to late to get more education and 26 is not old to go to university.
if your English then its too late I'm afraid unless you can find a company to send you on some sort of day release. or you could walk in and pretend you don't speak English and you'll have no problems
Why not have a look at what the Open University has?
You can continue to work and study part time, I've been doing it for just over 3 years and can strongly recommend it.
your not too late, in fact you would do better than the younger ones, as you actually want to go and will have chosen something you want to do. most young people go to college or uni as feel pressured to..
i am doing a course (i am 23) and am the youngest!! everyone else are. mature students..
it may take a while to get your head back into the whole routine of studying etc, but go for it! talk it over with your hubby, is there anyway he could do more hours? or do a part time course so you can still work. there are ways around it, just find what is best for you, but if you don't do it now you may regret it and put it off..
good luck, hope you acheive what you want :)
of course you can go back to college/university!
If you do not have any children, or if you have children of school age it would be even more convenient for you, however if they are young they can always go to a day nursery.
Being married isn't a problem, i have a friend who has been married for about 5 years and is in her final year of getting a degree. The only complaint she has or had even was that it was hard to manage her time but they managed to make a "timetable" that works for both of them.
as regards to the cost, you can always try and get a students grant or loan, depending on your local services
its very admirable that you would consider going back into education, i hope you all the best in having your dreams come true!
good luck Louise
