My 9 yr old daughter has to give an assembly on small beginnings any ideas ?

Weve done the Marks and Spencer story but she says she wants one about a plant complete with pictures she can show HELP !

Yes, flowers are excellent ways to show small beginnings. Especially, like Marigolds - you start with a seed, add dirt and water, some sunshine and then the seed sprouts and can grow into a good size flower. A sunflower, if even more spectacular when grown.

what do you mean assembly? presentation? small prodution? or small rose garden?
Your best bet would be some mustard and cress seeds,she can grow them herself on some damp cotton wool and photograph the growth ,then take a seed,the photos and the grown product to show in her assembly.
Tell her to take in an acorn and take a photo of her under an oak tree to show how something small grows into something big.
