When you end a sentence with Yahoo! do you need a full stop?
Yahoo! is a noun, right? The exclamation mark is part of the company name. So if I'm writing a sentence that finished with the company name, Yahoo!, do I need extra punctuation?
Answers:
You've just answered your own question by putting a comma after the exclamation mark in Yahoo!.
If you need to put a comma after the exclamation mark, why don't you need to put a full stop? If you think you don't need to add a full stop after Yahoo!, then would you ask a question with Yahoo! at the end of it without the question mark?
Now, having a company name with a period at the end would be really confusing.
Technically, yes. But practically, no.
No. The word already has an exclamation mark.
No, u don't
Part of the exclamation mark is a full stop, so you don't include another one.
Yes, you do need a full stop for the reason that you already gave: The exclamation point is part of the company name.
normally you wouldnt need a full stop with an exclamation mark
but although it would look odd you would in fact need a full stop cos YAHOO! is the company name
I would say yes you do. It is the end of a sentence, and at the end of every sentence, there should be a full stop, whether there be one at the bottom of the exclamation mark or not!.
