What did you want to do when you left school?

i wanted to work in a clothes shop so i could get discount on the clothes!! and i ended up as a pharmacy despenser

I had no idea and now I'm retired I still don't know what I want to do when I leave school. However, I've had a lot of fun and job satisfaction, hitting the ground running and bringing order out of chaos.

Doesn't it make you mad though, when you visit your Careers Officer and the first question they ask is 'What do you want to do when you leave school?' I always wanted to say - 'I thought that was what you were here to help me with!'

In the end I did some jobs with titles I didn't even know existed - that last one happened when I changed my career at 50 with no qualifications, 16 years in the previous job and female!!! How unlikely was that to get the job!!

I wanted to be a forensic scientist but the sight of blood makes me keel over and I can't even watch a butcher cutting up large pieces of meat so that career didn't even get started! I still cant watch the likes of Caualty etc!! But I think I've done every job in the world bar from Editor in Charge of The Times!
I always wanted to be a bus conductor.. it was something about the uniform and a machine with buttons and a handle!
As I matured I had designs to join the Royal Air force. they decided I wasn't their ideal candidate. I remember mentioning I didn't take too kindly to discipline!

I believe U have no goals for your future.Working in a cloth shop for discounts is the most lamest idea I have ever heard.For me it is to be a 3D animator & dedicate heavenly to the industry.Within 2 years of time I'm going for the degree & at the moment I am planning for my future.
