What after effect did the battle of little bighorn cause?
Answers:
The vultures had a feast.
Well, they didn`t have to worry about that Custer loser anymore.
Generally nothing, Custer lost but the Indian tribes of the Sioux still were "domesticated" rather quickly after the battle.
It let the US military know that the Indians weren't as backward as they thought and that they weren't going to sit there and take it.
Please, people, do your own homework.
It was a pretty minor battle as far as changing history. Custer was a glory hound. He decided to leave the Gatling guns behind because they would slow him down.Good choice.
It was probably a moral booster for the Dakotah and Cheyenne. It made Crazy Horse and Sitting Bull famous. I think what ever time or people Crazy Horse would have been born in he would have made a mark. I have alot of respect for him,I think he really tried to do his best for his people.
It should have taught us not to but rifles made by the lowest bidder. The Springfield 45-70 Trapdoor was a terrible choice. In the first place they were single shot and second, when they got dirty the shell would stick in the chamber. I wonder how many soldiers died trying to dig the last shell out of the chamber with their jack knife. some of the Indians had Winchester repeaters
