Does anyone have a recipe for sloe whiskey?



Answers:
same as sloe gin at a guess

16 ounces (450g) sloes
1 bottle (700ml) gin
9 ounces (250g) sugar
1 teaspoon (15 ml) glycerine

prick the sloe's more than ten times each then combine with the other ingregients shaking and or turning the bottle(s) regularly for 6 to 8 weeks
Add 4 - 6 oz caster sugar to each pint alcohol. *
Wash the sloes, dry them and prick each one a couple of times with a fork.
Put into a sterile Kilner jar**. Cover with alcohol. Seal the jar.
Leave for 6 months, tip upside down once a day till the sugar dissolves.
Strain and drink.

*4 oz for dry, 6oz for med sweet.
**sterilise with Miltons then rinse under running water.
