Who makes Tesco's sandwiches?
Their 'Fresh in the Capital' range looks awfully familiar but I can't figure out why.

Tesco/Sainsbury/ASDA/Boots have their sandwiches made by a variety of companies. They (the sandwiches) are made by regional companies (such as Greenleaf) & service the outlets in their region.
All makers are given templates showing, for example, how close to the edge the butter must go on the bread. Sandwiches which are outside of the agreed tolerances are sold cheaply to the staff. They (sandwiches not staff) also used to go for pig food, but since BSE & the various pig related food scares this no longer happens.
Incidentally, Tesco etc used to give the unwanted sandwiches to charity for homelss people (soup kitchens). They no longer do this for fear of litigation.
Whoever makes them should cut down on the bloody salt in them. I nearly had a heart attack eating one the other day! He he.

My neighbour makes them. Well when she's not at the lepracy clinic. She's a girl.92 and never without a cigarette in her mouth, dropping ash everwhere. Try not to stand too close to her when she's talking as she doesn't say.she more sprays when she talks !
