Answers:
1 cup of plain flour
1 cup of beaten eggs
1 cup of milk
pinch of salt
(just make sure the amounts are the same, ie, use the same cup. only a pinch of salt though)
Whisk together till it's smooth, leave it to stand for half an hour.
Put oil in a Yorkshire puddie tray, heat it up for a little while in the oven, put the batter in, back in the oven for 10-15 minutes till they're crispy.
4oz sr flour
1 egg
half pint of milk
pinch of salt
Mix egg , flour salt with some milk, finish adding milk so smooth.
Put in pre heated oven, into fat but make sure fat spitting hot. Depends if you are making a whole one or indivdual ones cook for 10-15min on about 210c or gas mark 6. Yummy
make this a couple of hours before cooking.enough to make a dozen..4 heaped spoons of plain flour, 2 large eggs, milk, salt & pepper.put the flour, eggs, salt & pepper in a bowl, and keep adding milk whilst your hand whisking until you get a smooth mixture that is neither too thick or runny, and leave to stand. when your ready to cook, put the yorkshire pudding tin in the oven to get really hot, place a small amount of fat in each "cup", when your ready to cook, get tin out of oven & pour the mixture in whilst holding the tin over a heat source on the cooker hob. place in a hot oven about 180 for 20 - 25 mins.lovely. good luck
I always measure with an egg cup. I use one egg cup of flour and one egg cup of milk to one egg, add the flour to a bowl make a well in the middle and add your beaten egg, whisk then gradually add your milk whisk untill smooth, place the mixture in the fridge for a couple of hours or over night if you have time. make sure you cover it with cling film.
When you are ready to cook, place some oil into the oven dish or yourkshire pudding tray and heat untill hot, whisk your batter again, then add to the oven tray and cook.
