In the UK - what time does an off-licence close?
Answers:
the license for selling alcohol does not permit you to sell it at an off sales after 10pm. unless u get it under the counter. that includes the 24 hour retailers. if you go there you will notice the booze aisles shut off... unless your in a night club or late night boozer. so what about contradiction. lol
10:30-11pm depends on what there licence is - lots of asdas though have a 24 hour lcence
11 o clock
my local shuts at 9pm
Usually 10:30pm but big super markets like ASDA who are open 24 hours apart from Saturday nights sell Alcohol 24 hours a day, they do ask for Id though if you don't look your age. x
depends on the licence
ours is open 24hours its a spar and very annoying listening to the drunks going past at all hours of the night. some idiots papping his horn now (git)
9pm
tesco's and asda sell beer all nite all
At one end of my street there is one closes at 10, another a bit away closes at 10.30 and the other end of the street one closes at 11
most about 11o'clock, but there are a few 24 hour places out there, only in the big cities, but there are a few
It depends. The majority are 10pm, but with new licensing laws in force, it is possible to buy drinks in some all night supermarkets through until the early hours. There's no set practice.
on average 10 pm
Some of the dodgy ones stay open all night/morning.most of them should close at 22:00-23:00
