This is the best online converter I've found. Very handy!
Try www.convert-me.com
You must be using the metric system where you live. Try a homework website. They usually have conversion tables there.
Try looking for a METRIC conversion chart on google
dictionary has conversion charts or search online for them
most measuring cups show the metric equivalant
Use the kitchen items, it is the quickest conversion:

1tbsp = 1 tablespoon (you eat pudding with this)
1/2c = 1/2 cup, like for drinking tea
1 tsp = 1 teaspoon (no hints here)
1 Tablespoon [US] = 14.786 764 844 milliliter
1 cup [US] = 236.588 237 5 milliliter
1 Teaspoon [US] = 4.928 921 615 milliliter
You can also look at some of these web sites for unit conversion programs.
THE JOY OF COOKING cookbook:

1 1/2 US teaspoon = 1 English teaspoon (dry measurement)
1 US cup = 1/4 liter, approx. (so 1/2 c warm water about 1/8 liter?) (dry measurement)
1 US tbsp (tablespoon) = 15 milliliters English (liquid measurement)
1 US cup = 5/6 English breakfast cup (dry measurement)
for sale - same as the yeast conversion

Hope this helps. Happy cooking!
