I once found what I thought was (the front) half of a mouse in a tin of rhubard.
I worked in a local newspaper office at the time and the editor convince me to go in the paper with a photo of it, which I did. The Star printed my picture and gave me £150, The Sun did a little paragraph without the pic and gave me £100. I sent the can in to Sainsbury's who sent me a nice letter explaining it was a Water Vole or Shrew that must have died inside the rhubarb while it was still growing - they gave me £120 in vouchers!
So not bad really. It did take me two years before I could eat rhubarb again though!
Cheers

Short curly black hairs in a pizza from a local pizza parlour. You can guess what my mate and I thought they were!!
The pizza place closed down not long afterwards.
I've also found a stone in a packet of mixed nuts and raisins, I knew it was a stone when I bite it!!
