What are the main ingredients in a dianne sauce?

Cream and vegetables.
It doesn;t really hve a main ingrediant. It is an awesome blend of these things. SPecifics are not as important as having them all in there.
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. fresh mushrooms, thinly sliced
2 tbsp. green onions, minced
1 clove garlic, pressed
1/4 tsp. thyme
1/4 tsp. freshly ground pepper
1 tbsp. lime juice
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. minced fresh parsley

Steak Dianne

Use 1/4 inch thick pieces of fillet steak.
Fry in butter for 1 - 2 minutes each side
Remove the steaks and keep warm.
add 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce and 1 tablespoon lemon juice to the juices in the pan.
Warm through.
Add 1 tablespoon finely chopped parsley and onion for each steak and fry gently for 1 minute.
Serve the sauce spooned over the steaks.

This dish used to be popular and I recalled it from an old cookery book. Haven't cooked it recently, but will try it for a change - instead of pepper and cream.
