Opening a bottle of gin?
if u buy an imported bottle of beefeater gin there is this plastic thing in the top you can see when you unscrew the cap. does this come out or is it meant to be there?
Answers:
I think it stays there, and you pour the gin through it. I think it's easier to measure the quantities, because gin pours out more slowly through it. If I understand correctly what you mean :) if you can pour gin out, then it should stay.
you are supposed to take it out. it's there as a sign of proof nobody opened it beforeyou, just like medicine.
cheers ;-)

For your next bottle of gin, try Bombay. Not the sapphire, just the regular. It's distilled with ten botanicals, (listed on label), and it's delicious. Remember, though, moderation is the key.
