Where can I buy wheat beer from?
Answers:
You'd have to tell us where you are first :P
If you live in the united states, any store that has a decent stock of Sam Adam's should have a special Sam Adam's Summer Ale. This is a wheat beer. It is quite refreshing. Also, most decent grocery store will stock a "weizen" which is also a wheat beer. Just look for "weizen" "hefeweizen" etc.
Sainsbury's I think.
Go to Germany.
Call it research.
Have a holiday.
Enjoy!!
Have a BevMo nearby? check with them.
get some Boulevard.
Any grocery store or liquor store. It's called Hefeweisen (sp?)
Any decent liquor store, and some of the bette grocery stores. Heifewiezen is what you will be looking for. It's a light yellow, hazy unfiltered beer. Serve it ice cold with a slice of lemon. YUM!
A fine liquor store. It's spelled 'Hefeweissen.' Tucher is a good brand. Depending on what region of Germany you come from, you can add different things to your beer - some Germans put a few blueberries or raspberries in their beer. Lemon is also very common.
go to shop.com may help.
In Europe, wheats are not commonly found in grocerie stores, unless its a really large grocier. In the states, you can find limited selections of wheats in groceries, such as Leininkugeln's Honey-Wheat or Blue Moon.
However, a wide variety of wheats should be available in liquor stores in Europe or America. European wheats come mainly from Germany and Austria and arre called 'Weisbier' or the aforementioned 'Hefeweis' which is a TYPE of 'Weisbier.' American stores more often carry their American cousins brewed state's side as well as a limited selection from EU.
Blue Moon (US) and Palauner (EU) are unfiltered, stronger beers. Hefeweis/Honey-Wheat beers are smoother and tange a bit of honey.
Leinenkugel's Summer Wheat if you are in the Midwest- it's a very refreshing beer.
any super market or if you are in the Glasgow area the pub i work in sells it
