Rhubarb pie?

How long should I bake a rhubarb pie? No baking instructions in the recipe I was given. Also What shoud I do to stop the crust from overbrowning?

Answers:
My recipe says this:

# Bake at 425 degrees f or 10 minutes.
# Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake an additional 30 minutes or until crust is brown.

Take some aluminum foil and gently fold it around the edges of the crust to stop the heat from getting to it..
35-45 min. Take it out if it's going too dark.
425 for 10 minutes then 325 for 30 minutes more.
Wrap foil around the edges of the crust.
Its like normal pie I think.

Just put the rhubarb and lemon and sugar in the crust, then like maybe 45 minutes at 350F.
Try cooking the rhubarb in a pot first, then add it and sugar to the pastry, cook merely pastry time..
Here are some rhubarb pie recipes (some have other ingredients added, such as berries, etc.)

I usually cover the crust with foil (loosely) and then remove it about 15 minutes before the pie is done so that it will brown. It helps to prevent the edges, especially, from getting burned.
heat the oven to 400 degrees, and once put in
turn down heat to 350 degrees and cook for 20 minutes
Make a foil ring to put on the outside crust. That always works. Also just bake the pie until the filling looks bubbly all over. I just made 2 Rhubarb pies the other day and they turned out beautifully. I used a cookie cutter to cut stars of dough out for the top. They looked great.
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Butter a 9-inch glass pie plate. Roll 1/2 pie dough to approximately 1/8-inch thick and about 1 inch larger than the pie plate. Fit in into the pie pan leaving the overlap intact. Fill with fruit filling and dot top with 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter. Brush beaten egg with pastry brush around the rim of the pie. Roll out the remaining dough and make a lattice top. Crimp the edges. Brush lattice with beaten egg. Do not brush the edge of the pie--this will cause the dough to become too dark while baking. Generously sprinkle with crystal sugar. Bake for 10 minutes. Lower oven temperature to 350 degrees F and bake for an additional hour. Pie is done when golden brown and juices bubbling from pie appear thickened.
Easy answer. nice and slowly to give me time to get there, hmmmm its my favourite.. With custard plz
