What is your perception on McDonald's compared to other similar fast food chains?
(questions directed esp to Malaysians-others are welcome)
1. How is the quality of thier products? Has the quality maintained over the years or deteriorated?
2. How is the quality and personality of the staff? (eg:friendly, efficient, rude?)
3. How would you rate the efficiency of their delivery services?
4. What would you change or suggest the fast food franchise mentioned above to better their products and services?

Their quality is very poor compared to what it was ten or twenty years ago. Lowest prices.but the food sucks.

I don't eat fast food anymore: they promote unhealthy eating and unethical practices such as not always being equal oppertunity employers (homophobic) and also unwise use of money as to who they sell out to, buy, or endorse. If I had to choose I would choose Burgerville because they use responsably reared Tilamook beef reared right in town and actually take better care of their customers
i dont rate mc'donards they just sell junk food then the people that do purchase it ;litter ,grow fat & lazy
1) its okay but there fries suck there soggy
2)some of them are rude but usually nice
3)i always got the wrong thing
4)To get better dipping sauces

When it used to be a burger and fries palace pure and simple it was a fun place to go, but in truth the food then was so unhealthy.
However, the restaurants themselves have gone downmarket, with less spent on the decor than ever, so they look worse, but the range of the food including healthier options has improved. The staff are just as hit and miss as ever. There appears to be no consistency over their sincerity, one minute it is good, then next poor. it just depends who serves you and how busy they are.
We don't get delivery service here, but certainly it is nice not to have to stand in a queue until the food is cooked, they will bring it to the table, and that is welcome.
I know one way I would improve these places, keep them cleaner and please can we have more comfortable seating? Those chairs are sooo hard on the bum!
I think they need to employ more people who look and feel as if they care about your meal not just scruffy youngsters who want to clear the queue as quickly as possible. We want our food fast, but we don't want to feel that the cooking and service has been rushed to just get rid if us.

However, at least the staff are clean and educated. So they serve

1. Every once in awhile I get this urge to gobble down bland lumps of theoretical meat in a soft white bun. Big Macs work pretty well to fill that need. I remember McDonalds back in the 60s. They had more flavor then, but it's been a long time since they were worth bothering with except for the occasional craving.
2. Inefficient and slow, generally get the order radically wrong -- wrong burgers, missing or too many sides, wrong drinks -- at the place closest to me.
3. No delivery where I am. The place is already understaffed and/or too inept to handle what they already have to do.
4. Use recognizable meat with flavor; use actual fresh ingredients for sandwiches; maintain drink equipment and supplies so one can actually get all of what is on the menu; have an evening manager on site who actually pays attention to what's going on around him/her.
Apart form the well documented issues with the health aspect of McDonald's,
my issues are more with what happens to the money I spend at there.
McDonald's has a branch at Guantanamo (GITMO)
So everyone who eats there, remember your Ringgits are helping a corporation that feeds the guards and other people who are allowed to walk around the US base at Guantanamo, irrespective of what they do when they enter the compounds of the prison.

McDonald's is also associated with the longest trial in British history, when they sued 2 unemployed activists:

Hi. I travelled to Langkawi two years ago and found the macdonalds no different to the ones in England. Everywhere I go the service appears to be consistant and the quality is the same. I find that other fast food places vary in quality more, but some of those are of a higher quality than Macdonalds.
hmmmmm..I don't eat McDonald's, just so you know..1. i don't think the food is great quality, you have to get there at the right time because if you go for a late lunch you get the last of the batch, example: the burgers are kinda chewy.
2. I can't understand many of the staff because they don't speak up!
3.I didn't know they had a delivery service!

I think that mcdonalds is rubbish. I'd much rather have burger king or kfc as you feel like you have had a meal. The staff at mcdonalds always seem to be bits of kids that would rather pick their arses than serve you. We have alot of bularians working in a mac's near us and they can't understand what you are saying when you place your order. I have nothing against forgeign nationals working here but i would not expect to find work there if i could not speak the language.

i definitely do NOT recommend McDonald's. try jack in the box. oh and also my friend used to work there and he said that they would get the hamburger ones that didnt look like they had any bite marks. from what you may ask? from RATS! i never ate a fast food hamburger from there again.
