Want to buy a South African Cookery Book?

During the '80's I purchased the Tri-lingual Cookery book with recipes in English, Zulu and Sotho. They were simple recipes aimed at the domestic maids to cook for their employers. It was published by the Institute of Race Relations and sold by them in Durban S/Africa. I would like to get a copy of this and have tried Amazon to no avail. Can anyone help please.

An old book. The Trilingual Cookery book, (english, zulu and south sotho) I know of is by Yvonne Erasmus, published by H Timmins in 1972. There is actually one on www.amazon.com by a seller named "dogonacouch" and selling for $24.95. But there is only one available, so best hurry before someone gets to it before you! Best of luck
I know it isn't the book you are looking for but Marcus Samuelson has a new book out about African cookery. He has roots there. He is the chef of Aquavit in NYC and formerly one was in Minneapolis where I live. This book has been getting good reviews.
You could keep trying ebay searches for the one you want. It is probably your best bet. You never know when it will pop up on there.
Perhaps eBay might have it,you will be surprised at what they do sell.!
I know this might sound daft, but have you tried Sainsburys?
They do a few South African products aswell!
