with salt,without vinegar
Salt - no vinegar for me xx
With. But to get the proper flavour it must be served in newspaper printed on a hot metal press. Offset ink just doesn't do the job.
if they are of a very high standard - with. If not, salt and tomato ketchup.
I have a grading scale for condiments on chips!
Lashings of both!
And a big dollop of Hellmans Mayo on the side. full fat.of course.
WITH MALT VINEGAR
And wrapped in newspaper.
without , there is salt and vinegar at the table to use as little or as much as you wish. You have a choice1 Thank you.
with for sure!!
lots of salt no vinegar, and a bread roll, oh and ketchup, ummmm thats my tea for tonight
With every time. Preferably with pickled onion vinegar (Garner's if you don't have home-made).
But don't put it on until you get home because it makes the chips go cold.
with out

Dip the chips in mayonnaise :D No fish! Fish is weird and it smells.

Always with. There is no alternative. The vinegar helps zap some of the fat away too.
from a chipie with at home without
Fish (Mmm Haddock) and chips with fresh lemon juice and salt. So no vinegar.
salt and brown sauce
With Salt but without Vinegar!
SALT + SAUCE!!
salt noooooo vinegar, the smell of vinegar puts me off.
salt no vinegar, but I'll only have fish up north where they take the skin off the fish. Can't understand this southern thing where they batter fish with the skin on as the batter lifts the skin off the fish and makes the batter go all soggy. Annoying as I can't even opt for the alternative of chips and gravy as southerners don't get how gorgeously tasty that is either!
Gotta be with both and lots of tomatoe sauce
Salt AND vinegar for me please!
