How do I make smoothies like in the Pure and Natural shops in Australia please?

Do i use frozen fruit or is it sorbet? Do I add milk or real fruit juice? How do they make it thick, it can't be just ice?

Answers:
Use fresh fruit, think creamy yogurt and a bit of milk. I dont think it will taste the same though coz that yogurt is only made there - you cant buy its in the uk and believe me Ive looked!
first get a smoothy machine
Its so easy its almost criminal. Forget a posh smoothie maker - get a simple blender, which won't spend the rest of its life in a cupboard, like so many kitchen gadgets.

There are loads of recipe books in the shops and online recipes - my personal favourite (at the moment) is plain yoghurt (1 small or half a large tub) a banana and a spoon of honey (set or clear, it doesn't matter).

For an iced one, I suppose you could swap the yoghurt for vanilla ice cream - or just add a dollop of ice cream to the above ingredients - what the hell!
if you're thinking sweet I suggest you use frozen fruit but I prefer fresh fruit. All you have to do is add some milk the fruits you want honey(optional) youghurt but try to use as little youghurt as possible. My fav is avocado smoothies for that all you need is some milk two fresh medium sized avocados and a teaspoon of vanilla essence.
