Why does mineral water have a use by date when it has been trickling down the mountains for years??
Answers:
Most likely because the minerals that are disolved in the water eventually settle out, and become insoluble. Because in the mountain the water is constantly moving, it is airated and the minerals are able to disolve.
Pretty good question. Ive always wondered that myself.
Regular spring water doesnt have an expiry date.
because of the outgassing from the plastic bottles
.. because the years add up and will expire soon.
marketing scam
Chemicals can pass through the plastic bottles and contaminate it, as it happened recently to Volvic. A lady stored it too near to cleaning chemicals and the water was unfit for consumption and downright dangerous
because it's in a plastic bottle and will pick up the taste of plastic after a while
cos its all a con
because some air is packaged with the water which can contain minute amounts of bacteria.. this bacteria can multiply over time given the right conditions.
Because it is probably now in a plastic bottle, and is subject to changing temperatures and sunlight which is not good for it.
to con you into buying more.
It's not the water that has the date it's the bottle, since it's degradable and it will deteriorate over time. This is why they tell you not to re-use the plastic bottles or refill them.
that's a good question!!!!!!!!.
Water is fresh all the time
when its packaged, the water cant get air so it can go off.
water gets sucked up by clouds then gets reproduced. so its now fresh because all the dirt in it isnt light enough to be sucked up. so only the clean water is sucked up. There!
because bacteria will grow in the bottle
It means that it is no longer sanitary, and need sanitation again.
The plastic bottels effect the waterafter time, and it is no longer on a Mountain.
