Why don't you just drive to the store? Maybe you should add some tomato juice to the veggies after you boil and strain them.!!
Try not straining the soup.
HaHa. Thanks fot the points.
Turn the page.maybe the rest of the recipe is there.? Failing that, and Guessing that you aren't joking. try calling Your Mom.
Redo it when you've had less to drink.
That's probably it! It just doesn't taste as good because you had to work by preparing it!
After you boil your veggies, put them in chicken, vegetable, or beef stock, simmer about 15 - 20 minutes, and you should have a flavorful soup.
Stop trying to make it and get it out of a can
if your a vegetarian your leaving out the okra
just do yourself some beans or cheese on toast.
sounds weird.. but make i make sugestion or a few perhaps. after u boild the veggies in water. or steamed however u do it,add some canned chicken or beef broth boil the veggies in it for about 10 mins or so or till it come to a rolling boil then put on low for maybe a 1 or two then serve in a bowl enjoy! bon apetite!
ps. also try putting pre cooked noodles in to make it heartier, and more filling,u could also mix the veggies when their hot still and makem mushy then put in spices if theres still plenty of water from what u made it in u shouldnt need to put any extra . hope this helps a bit. good luck kiddo.
Start with beef or chicken stock. Cook the veggies in it, slow simmer, so all that veggie flavor steeps into the broth. Near the end of cooking, put in the seasonings, then some boiled potato in near the last, for thickening. Don't strain anything! If you strain all the veggies out, you are making consume, not soup. Add chicken or beef last, if you wish.
Should soup really be this tough?
Always try to buy a cook book that says 'recipes have been tried and tested'. The reason for this is because some recipe books ARE wrong - no matter what you do, the recipe will never come out right. So take heart, it isn't you. Go buy a couple of tins for next time.
